Wendeline S. Batten
Wendeline Shea Batten is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina. She graduated from North Carolina State University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Spanish. Wendeline was also Captain of the Equestrian Dressage team at North Carolina State University. In her youth, Wendeline consistently traveled to horse shows and competed in hunter/jumper and dressage events. She has been passionate about horses since birth.
Wendeline graduated from Elon University School of Law where she served as Chair of the Honor Council and Vice Chair of Delta Theta Phi law fraternity. She interned at the North Carolina State Bar and the City Attorney's Office in Greensboro, North Carolina. She also spent a semester drafting wills for indigent clients in the Wills Clinic at Elon University School of Law. Currently, Wendeline is a member of the Atlantic Judicial Circuit Bar Association, the Young Lawyers Division and Fiduciary Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia.
She focuses her practice on advising clients in areas of estate, trust, and business succession planning. She drafts and reviews wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and business contracts and assists clients with complex probate administration and litigation.
